"So did you F- him?.." one tiny girl in school uniform to another in Central Park
Spring is in full swing and the park is unbearably beautiful. it is hard to go to work knowing that i have to stay in a dungeon-like basement with no windows all day long. but soon enough it will be hot and humid and the basement will feel more like a refuge.
it is weird how changes can affect matters in different ways. here at the ivory tower the powers that be decided to make some changes in the administration. while a change certainly was needed no one saw this one coming: the new power-lady fired everyone and installed her own people (including her husband!) who appear totally ignorant of how to perform their duties, so in this instant change is not good or an improvement.
on a personal level a change took place that was quite positive albeit strange: my married puppy unexpectedly anounced he was getting divorced, and suddenly the curtain came down and the play was over, the star turned out to be just an amateur actor after all whose main attraction was his role as the long suffering married man. my feelings changed and the little piece of me that had been devoted to him was freed up! so a positive change indeed, now i'll have room for a new one!!!
